Before purchasing the Rough Country lift we were a bit concerned about what the quality would be like due to the abundance of poor reviews online, but we went ahead anyway are were not disappointed. All the parts were steel with quality welds and black powder coating. The only issue we experienced in terms of quality were parts coming loose after extended driving, so be sure to apply Loctite to all fasteners. 4 stars.
Aesthetics: ★★★★★
This lift looks awesome! Completely changed the look of our Ram. For what we were going for, 6″ worked perfect, with just the right amount of lift. The Rough Country logo can be found on the main front support and on the strut supports, and actually adds to the appearance. The black powder coat has held up so far as well. 5 stars.
Value for price paid: ★★★★
Rough Country is one of the most inexpensive lifts out there, so we weren’t complaining. Since everything worked out for us, we are quite happy with what we got for what we paid. 4 stars.
OVERALL: ★★★★
If you’re looking to add some edge to your rig without breaking the bank, this lift is for you. 6″ is perfect (we’re running 35″ tires, might be too large if you’re running 33″s) and looks excellent. Make sure you check those nuts and bolts though! 4 stars.
